Neurotherapy Process & Fees

Process

Screening: A collaborative discovery of an individual's obstacles to efficient learning. The senses are the intersection between our body, our brain and our environment. Irregularities in sensory processing prevent efficient integration of information. For example, distractibility can be caused by heightened sensitivity to sound, light, movement, touch or a combination of these sensitivities. Reading problems might arise even when visual acuity is fine, but eye movements are irregular causing skipped words, lines and loss of comprehension. Organizational issues can stem from visual/spatial deficits. Each individual is different, a screening develops a profile that allows us to create a movement-based program that enhances learning potential.

Presentation: A personalized presentation of findings in terms easily understood. Questions are encouraged.

Program: An individualized program that is home-based, gentle and effective when practiced daily. Neurodevelopmental therapy retrains neural pathways by physical movements that are rhythmic, sequential, and can feel playful to children.

Follow-up: Ensures that you understand your program and allows for refinements.
